Exquisite art deco themes, lush cream hued roses, a vintage 1958 Jaguar, Great Gatsby blue and gold tinged accents, all of these things were the essence of Courtney and Max’s elegant and stunning black tie wedding. It was truly a gorgeous affair, aptly set at the historic Meinders Hall of Mirrors, with its floor to ceiling gold gilded walls, magnificent chandeliers, and an one-of-a-kind view of the downtown skyline. The Bicentennial Garden also made a perfect pairing for where Courtney and Max made their vows to each other, with its endless greenery and the Oklahoma City Civic Center serving as a backdrop. Courtney as always looked absolutely extraordinary in her stunning wedding dress that looked seemingly made just for her, and Max was handsome in his classic tuxedo and custom cuff links. No one could have looked more beautiful and dapper than those two on that day.
Courtney and Max’s special day was the result of a chance encounter while Max was in town to train for the U.S. men’s rowing team. After meeting and then arguing over college football, the attraction was evident as Max decided to give Courtney a kiss. Their relationship blossomed from there and almost four years later Max proposed to Courtney during a surprise visit from winter training.
Words cannot express how wonderful a couple Courtney and Max are. We love the way Max looks at Courtney with endearment, how they love to do their special dip after dancing, and how Courtney lights up with a beautiful smile at the sight of Max. Throughout their wedding day, there were so many moments that proved how perfect they were together and how their loved ones would agree on that. Moments like their first look session, when Courtney received surprise wedding gifts from Max, the kisses they stole in between moments during their bride and groom portraits, their first dance, and the list goes on. Courtney and Max are truly one of the kindest and sweetest couples we know, and we cannot wait to see what many adventures and happiness their married life together will bring to them.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Goff! (and just for them, #goffnation!)
