As Valentine’s Day draws near, we couldn’t help but share Brittney and Stormy’s perfectly hued wedding that reminds us of the day of love. As red is the bride’s favorite color, it was prevalent throughout Brittney and Stormy’s gorgeous winter wedding, from the bridesmaids’ dresses, to the groomsmens’ ties, within the floral design, and the aromatic candy display at the reception as well. All the blushing tones couldn’t help but set the stage for a true love story. Brittney was such a stunning bride. Her sparkling jewelry and hair accessories, her ultra-flattering wedding dress from Maggie Sottero, and her smashing lipstick red heels all made into a gorgeous, “look at her twice” combination. We also loved that she incorporated some lace from her mother’s wedding dress on her bouquet for an extra sentimental touch.
Brittney and Stormy’s special day at the Arrow Springs Chapel was overflowing with sunshine and laughter, which helped keep the wintry winds at bay. Their first look and the time they got to spend together after the ceremony as Mr. and Mrs. were our favorite moments. They both couldn’t help but have huge smiles on their faces for each other and their happiness was so apparent. All their friends and family had such a great time during their wedding, especially all the young kids as they let loose on the dance floor.
Brittney and Stormy’s wedding was a wonderful way to salute the 2014 wedding season. It has been quite an honor to capture many special moments in their love story, from their engagement session to their wedding, and of course, Brittney’s beautiful bridal session.

Here is what Brittney, the bride had to say about her love story with Stormy and their special day:
“Stormy and I met sophomore year of college. All of my friends told me he was trouble, but there was just something about him. It only took a few months of dating before I knew I wanted to marry him. The night he proposed, he took me to my favorite sushi restaurant downtown. After, we went to look at Christmas lights. It had snowed a few days before so there was snow on the ground and Christmas lights all around when he knelt down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.
The theme of our wedding was vintage. I love everything vintage so I knew that would be a perfect theme for our special day. I chose Arrow Springs Chapel as our venue because it was beautiful! I loved the pond in the back and the bright open feel of the inside area. All the colors are neutral which make it perfect for decorating exactly the way you want (such as with red).
Some of my favorite wedding day memories are spending time with my bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law in the dressing room, listening to music, dancing, and finishing a few bottles of wine. Also, I will never forget the feeling I had waiting for my dad to come get me to walk me down the aisle, I was so nervous! Now that it’s all over, I couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out. It was perfect.”
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Pitts, and we wish you many years of love, happiness, and adventure together!
